What's involved when ACG installs a geothermal system in Wisconsin? You'll get the picture with these photos from  ACG's archive of customer installations.

A system of pipes that is the earth loop must be connected with the home or building.       Pipe is fed into a vertical loop.

For horizontal loops, there must be enough land space to accommodate trenches of 100 to 400 feet.       The circulating fluid in the system requires outflow and inflow piping ends to come into the building.

A well digger's rig is used to bore the hole for a vertical loop.       Geothermal is an excellent choice for those who want radiant floor heating.

One type of pond loop installation uses stainless steel pond plates.       An alternative method of making a pond loop is to install bound coils of piping.

A WaterFurnace geothermal unit looks similar to a conventional furnace.       Geothermal piping has thermally fused joints for great longevity.
